Description
Summary:Texte de 'The 1996 Saint Augustine Lecture', à Villanova University. I. Historical knowledge (p. 10-19); II. Trinitarian faith as a kind of historical knowledge (p. 19-32); III. Economy and theology (p. 32-42); Final Reflections (p. 43-50). 'The temporal economy of salvation symbolizes the eternal reality of the Holy Trinity. Although (Augsutine) did not reflect much on that fact, he always expresses his conviction that the 'dispensatio salutis' is a congruent expression of what the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit have been since eternity' (p. 50).
