Aurèle de Carthage possédait un commentaire sur Matthieu qu'il pensait être d'Origène, et traduit par Jérôme (cf. Ep. Divjak 27*). Le De Sermone Dom. in monte est en revanche bel et bien inspiré du 'De oratione' d'Origène.
